Posted on May 19, 2014

The Chelsea, Camberwell & Wimbledon Artist Moving Image Initiative (CCW AMI) presents new works made by students at Chelsea, Camberwell and Wimbledon Colleges of Art. The premiere of six new single screen moving image works made by students from undergraduate through to post graduate study are shown for the first time, with the artists also in attendance.

Now in its fourth year the CCW AMI Fund is pleased to announce that the following candidates received funding to realise a film or video project: Aylish Browning, Benjamin Dawton, Milo Creese, Sylvie MacMillan and Thomas Ellmer (Wimbledon), Giacomo Raffaelli (Camberwell), Sam Burford (Chelsea), Natsumi Sakamoto (Chelsea), Julian Buchan (Wimbledon) and Benjamin Whitley (Camberwell). Each of the applicants was awarded up to £500 to fund the production of a new single screen work that represented a significant shift in their practice. They also benefited from production advice, a development session with Gil Leung, Head of Programme at LUX and with Anna Gritz, Associate Curator at the South London Gallery, as well as this screening of the finished work at the South London Gallery.
